Frank L. VanderSloot is CEO of Melaleuca, Inc. in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Since the company began in September 1985, VanderSloot has directed its growth into an international company that generates more than $1 billion in annual revenue. Melaleuca's sales force reaches hundreds of thousands of households across North America, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. VanderSloot has directed the development of the company’s 350-plus nutritional, pharmaceutical, personal care, and household cleaning products.

Under VanderSloot’s leadership, Melaleuca has been ranked on Inc. magazine’s list of the nation’s 500 fastest-growing, privately-held firms. Melaleuca is a member of the Inc. 500 Hall of Fame and is the only firm to remain on Inc.’s list for five consecutive years while also earning the publication’s "A profitability" rating each year.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce presented Melaleuca with the Blue Chip Enterprise Award, recognizing companies that have overcome great adversity on their way to success. He has been named Idaho’s Business Leader of the Year, as well as the Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young, CNN, and USA Today. In 2007, he was also inducted into the Idaho Hall of Fame. He serves on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and currently sits on the Chamber’s Executive Committee.

Frank L. Vandersloot

Prior to Melaleuca, VanderSloot held key management positions with two Fortune 500 companies. He served as a Regional Vice President for Automated Data Processing (ADP) and later became Vice President for Cox Communications.

VanderSloot earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. In addition to his responsibilities at Melaleuca, VanderSloot owns several large cattle ranches, and one of the nation’s largest and most elite registered Angus herds.
